Nestled under the foothills of the Long Range Mountains a cosy, unique experience awaits. Captain Cooks Trail B&B/Cottage overlooks the open ocean with dome shaped Lark Harbour Head to the left and time worn Blow Me Down mountains to the right. Looking directly out from the cottage,is a panoramic vista of several land masses, comprising the outer archipelago aptly know-The Bay of Islands. During your stay feel free to check out local fishing brooks,hiking trails and fresh water swimming holes. Located at sea-side Captain Cooks Cottage is also an excellent location for the roving kayak enthusiast. At the end of the day, whether having taken photos of flora or fauna, or hiked you heart out, our guest can look forward to majestic sunsets, while later sleeping to the sounds of surf.
