Having existed informally for over a decade, the now formalized Guild meets on a monthly basis at 191 Hunter Street in Peterborough. The Guild caters to still photographers whose interests are the advancement of photographic art and the creation and production of high quality photographic prints. Its aims are the encouragement and promotion of skills in image capture and printing techniques, whether by contemporary digital or traditional silver based methods. Current membership includes photographers, both current and retired, from professional ranks, and aspiring amateurs. Meetings feature free and open exchange of expertise and peer assessment of members’ current works in a non-competitive and learning environment.
